Hey! I’m Sophie. I guess you’re here because you want to know a few things about me…
Born and raised in London, I moved to Sweden to study my Masters in Creative Writing in the hopes it’d give me the tools I need to finish the book(s) sitting my head. The acceptance came through at the perfect time, as I’d just been made redundant from my job in London. Now nearly 3 (!) years later, I’ve got my masters degree, I’m represented by the incredible Caroline Hardman and we’re trying to get my debut historical fiction novel to market.

I wrote my Master’s thesis on Time Travel and Empathy and used my findings to help me write my debut historical fiction novel (think Outlander meets Game of Thrones). I’m currently working on a second historical fiction novel that doesn’t involve time travel, but I’m sure I’ll be lured back to anachrony soon enough.
When I’m not glued to my laptop writing you’ll either find me on the couch, reading, at the gym (handily in my living room since March 2020) or spending time with friends and family.
I also horse ride (badly), ski (terribly) and sing out of tune. My friends hate our equestrian, winter sport and karaoke holidays.
